The doctor is part of the primary care centre which provides emergency cover between 6:30pm and 8:00am on weekdays and 24 hours at weekends and bank holidays.

All surgeries are run by appointment.  To make an appointment telephone 657680 or call at reception.  If you need to see the doctor urgently please tell the receptionist

The Practice Nurses & Healthcare Assistants can offer travel vaccinations, professional advice on general health matters, cervical smears and reviewing minor ailments. These can be organised by ringing the surgery and making an appointment. The practice nurse undertakes a part in chronic disease management such as taking blood pressure and looking for heart disease, diabetes & asthma patients. She also holds well person clinics

Our team of receptionists behind the reception desk will assist you in making emergency and routine appointments to see your doctor, undertake repeat prescriptions, answer numerous and varied questions and offer help and assistance at all times. At some stage they may need to ask you certain relevant medical details in order to allow the right amount of time for appointments etc.

Community Midwives

Provides excellent ante-natal/post-natal care.  No longer based at the surgery.  Now works from a Children's centre.  Please speak to reception for more information and contact details.

Community Nurses

Our district nurses provide care in the community for patients who require nursing assistance in the home. Referrals are made via the GP

Health Visitors

Our health visitors are registered nurses with further specialist skills, who work in the community to prevent ill health and promote good health. They are in the Health Centre on a daily basis and can be contacted via the main desk.  We also have a weekly baby clinic on Wednesdays, please contact the surgery for further advice/information.
